Photography isn’t always about smile and say “cheese!” There’s so much more. Some of the best pictures are those when people aren’t smiling. I don’t believe in making a child sit and smile - I’d much rather capture their spirit - letting them play and interact the way they would everyday. This is how I achieve true expressions -not forced. I have studied photojournalism and believe in letting things happen naturally. Which means you get to enjoy being in the moment - and I get to document it! Pictures will always be an important part of my family. My grandfather taught me at a young age that photos capture a family’s history. Being an avid photographer himself, he documented my family in photos. And I cherish them to this day.
